LOSSED SOUL BIOGRAPHY
One of LA’s most acclaimed bands of today’s original rock. LA’s Lossed Soul was founded by Howard Walmsley Singer-songwriter. He collaborated with many musicians in Southern California to create some of today’s most indelible rock with a straight-ahead musical approach bringing together a lifetime of passion. The creative talents of Lossed Soul have brought hits like “I think I love her”, “Why do I care”, “How it hits you”, “Why do I care”, and most recently “I Can’t Win”.
Lossed soul was born when Howard Walmsley was looking to start a new group. He found three other guys wanting to do the same. Howard worked with several musicians, Scott Swope, Jeff Tribis, Miles Gleason, Nate Perrotte, Tracy Jors, Michael Laughbaum, and Butch Coleman. The most powerful duo was when Howard was working with Miles Gleason. Howard brought magic to Miles’ powerful riffs with story-like lyrics. Howard Walmsley singer-songwriter has provided the powerful hit songs needed to drive the music to the top of the Southern California Music Scene.
Howard Walmsley, Singer-Songwriter, has been performing and writing songs since as long as he can remember. When he was a child, he used anything as a microphone. It wasn’t until a high school music teacher, Ken Carlton, really believed in him that he started thinking seriously about becoming a performer. Howard made an audition tape for Star Search when he was 13, but didn’t have the courage to send it in. Life began to happen, and Walmsley joined the United States Coast Guard. After his release he became a police officer. Still singing at special events all over the west coast in California, Oregon, Washington, and Nevada, his passion led him to a part-time career as a country singer and solo artist “Clay Dyer”. After many national anthems, hundreds of shows at State Fairs and other events, this San Francisco Bay Area Native joined Gleason and created many of the Lossed Soul songs so popular today. He quickly drove Lossed Soul Music to the top of the LA music scene.
